Blockers is a hilariously funny, somewhat risqué movie that will keep you giggling throughout.

Julie, Kayla and Sam meet on their first day of school and become firm friends, throughout their school years. Julie’s mom and Kayla and Sam’s dads also become friends, through their childrens’ friendship with one another.

Ladybird

Ladybird is a really beautiful comedy drama It is a coming of age story about an eccentric young high school senior, and the challenges she faces, not least of which is the difficult relationship she has with her mother.

The movie begins with Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson being driven back to her Catholic High School in Sacramento by her mom. The drive is less than civil and Ladybird, as she likes to be called, jumps out the moving car, leaving a rude note for her mother on her seat! With her arm in a bandage she arrives at school, for her senior year.

Fifty Shades Freed

The final chapter in the Trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed, to my mind, is the best of the three movies.

Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) and Christian (Jamie Dornan) are married and enjoying an exotic European honeymoon and lots of sensual, rather than S&M, sex, when duty calls and they have to return to New York.

This movie is the most delightful animated fantasy thriller I’ve seen in a long while.

The show begins with Tad Jones working on a construction site. He has a pile of books on Archaeology and his dog with him, and while he is eating his lunch, he receives a call from Sara Lavrof, an old friend and respected archaeologist and explorer.

If you are a fan of historical drama, based on actual events, you are bound to enjoy this brilliant account of Winston Churchill’s role in WWII.

The movie is set in May 1940. The opposition Labour party is calling for Neville Chamberlain’s resignation as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, as the members do not believe that he is able to handle the Nazi threat. Chamberlain’s first choice as his successor is Lord Halifax but Halifax declines and the only other option is Winston Churchill.

George V1, King of England is not a fan of Churchill’s however he reluctantly invites him to form a Government.
