This a really funny and heart-warming movie, highlighting some great life lessons.
Teddy Walker (Kevin Hart) is a high school dropout, who has the gift of the gab, and has a successful career selling barbecues and accessories. Just when he thinks he has it made, he accidentally burns the shop down, and finds himself jobless and Diplomaless!
Teddy has pulled out all the stops to impress his fiancé, Lisa, and when he cannot find a job, he doesn’t know how to tell her. A good friend of his says he can get him a job as a financial analyst but he has to pass his GED, and Teddy reluctantly decides to go to night school to achieve his goal of graduating high school.
His teacher, Carrie (Tiffany Haddish) faces a class full of adult misfits, all having to pass their GED, for one reason or another, and this makes for a hilarious situation. Tiffany is one of the funniest actresses I’ve ever seen on the big screen, and complement’s Kevin Hart perfectly.
No spoilers! Go and see the movie, and enjoy the fun.
Released by Universal, Night School opens on Friday, 28 September, at cinemas countrywide and is classified 16 LPV.
