It was my dad's 80th birthday on 15 December.

In his youth he was a Eastern province amateur boxing champion and he managed and trained many well-know professional South African fighters.


Yesterday we spent Xmas day with friends of ours and my dad took an old tattered photo out of his wallet of himself with Rocky Marciano, taken just 2 weeks before Rocky's untimely death in 1969.

I decided that I would love to share this pic with you all :)

My dad is on the far left and Rocky is the BIG guy!!!
