If you are looking for a good laugh, this movie will provide you with a lot of giggles. Its hilarious but also highlights a few great life lessons.
Ali Davis (played by Taraji P. Henson) is a successful sports agent. Its tough staying ahead of the game in a male dominated world, so she is hard, ruthless and success driven. Her assistant, Brandon, is ever near to try and bail her out of trouble. She has a drop dead gorgeous neighbour whose attention she has been trying to attract but with little success.
Against this backdrop, Ali arrives at Summit, the sports agency she works for, expecting to be named the new senior VP, and she is deeply disappointed when the job goes to someone else.
Ali and her friends get together for her friend, Mari’s< bachelorette party, and meets with a psychic named sister, who has been hired for the party. Sister sees Ali’s problems and frustrations and her difficulty in dealing with men, and she predicts a relationship with the sexy neighbour. The psychic gives her some foul smelling tea to drink, and Ali starts feeling decidedly woozy. When the ladies go a club later in the evening, Ali trips and knocks herself unconscious.
She ends up in hospital, and to her horror, she can hear the doctors thoughts, and for that matter, ALL men’s thoughts. And then the fun really begins!
What men want sports “pardon the pun” a brilliant cast and a really funny storyline!
Released by Paramount, the movie opens on Friday, 22 February countrywide.
